Keeping care maps up-to-date
Map of Medicine pathways are constantly updated in response to new evidence.
Continuous evidence searching means that pathways can be updated rapidly in response to any change in the information landscape. Indexed and grey literature is constantly monitored for new evidence, and feedback is collected from users year-round.
The information is triaged so that important changes to the information landscape are incorporated into the pathways as interim updates through the quarterly publication cycle. A scheduled update includes all recently published, quality-assessed secondary literature, practice-based knowledge, healthcare policy information, where appropriate, and user feedback.
