Map Referrals launches: a complete referrals system for GPs and Commissioners
Map of Medicine has launched Map Referrals, a referral management solution which integrates with GP IT systems, allowing access to pre-populated referral forms, and referrals criteria and guidance at the point of care. Map Referrals tackles the issues of referral bounce backs and variation in patient care, and has already been shown to significantly reduce time spent on administration: across a 40 practice CCG, pilots have demonstrated that Map Referrals can save 20 days of admin in a single month.

Map of Medicine launches commissioning pathways with British Pain Society

MidCentral region leads the way
Central PHO and MidCentral DHB (New Zealand) launched the Collaborative Clinical Pathways project and celebrated the completion of the first ten localised pathways. Dr Dave Ayling, from the PHO Clinical Board said "This project has really created a buzz locally.
