Map of Medicine and Imperial College Business School
Map of Medicine and Imperial College Business School have entered into a collaboration designed to help students on their MSc in International Health Management course gain insights into how pathways can facilitate the design of care services.
The collaboration provides:
- Graduates of the MSc with the opportunity to win internships at the Map for 6-12 months, starting October 2011. The graduates will participate as full- or part-time team members, with duties ranging from creating pathways to engaging with health communities to aid in the design of services.
- Map of Medicine offers a “consulting project” for a small group of MSc students to work through a scenario depicting the realities of creating change with the assistance of pathways
- Map of Medicine provides the opportunity for Intercalated (Medicine and Management) BSc degree students to work on a topic pertinent to the Map for the final dissertation project for undergraduate medical students.
- Map of Medicine provides an introductory lecture to both undergraduate and postgraduate medical students on pathways and care design.
Benita Cox, Director of the MSc Programmes in Health Management said, “We are delighted to have this opportunity to work with the Map of Medicine. This collaboration provides our students with the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge which they acquire on their courses in a real world setting.”
